Do you recommend using Uber to get around?
Uber is not always reliable in Farnham. Local taxis are the safest option, and advance booking is recommended.
What’s the weather like in late August?
Late August in England is usually mild and pleasantly warm, often ranging from the high 60s to mid 70s°F (around 18–24°C). That said, this is England, so rain is never entirely out of the question.
Evenings can cool down, so we recommend bringing a light layer.
Will food and drinks be provided?
Yes! Cocktail hour, dinner, drinks and dessert will all be served, in addition to evening food during the reception. Please note any dietary requirements so we can accommodate you.
Will there be vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Absolutely. Just mention any dietary needs and the catering team will take great care of you.
Is the venue accessible?
The castle is a historic site with some uneven ground and stairs. If you need accommodations, please let us know - we’re happy to help plan the easiest routes.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’re having an unplugged ceremony so please keep phones and cameras away until after the vows. However, we encourage you to take photos throughout the rest of day as we would love to see your perspective!
